Apple iPad International Launch
The Apple iPad is currently available in 9 countries including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, the UK and the US.
From this Friday the iPad will be available in Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore.
Currently the cheapest Apple iPad in the UK is the 16GB Wi-Fi model priced at £429; the same model is $499 in the U.S.
The pricing of the new Apple tablet has not yet been revealed.
Apple also announced plans to further increase the distribution of the iPad this year saying “iPad will roll out to many more countries later this year and Apple will announce availability and local pricing for these additional countries at a later date.”
